Intense Competition Highlights Blue Rock Golf Course Yearly Parent-Child Tournament Over Two Weekends

The 2026 Blue Rock Golf Course Parent-Child Golf Tournament concluded its two-weekend run on Sunday, August 16 with a blistering round in the 18-hole division to take home the title.

It was a big turnout with some fierce and lively play on the Par-3 course. In the 18-hole competition on August 16, Catherine and Ed Saunders combined for a 58 to win the 17-years and older division. The 9-hole event was held the previous Sunday on August 9.

The yearly Parent-Child Golf Tournament is one of the more highly anticipated events on the Cape Cod golf calendar and the 2026 field did not disappoint.

This popular event is a terrific way for adults to hit the links with their kids and compete against other teams for bragging rights as the best parent-child duo, grandparent-child duo, uncle-cousin duo…etc. Any adult can pair up with a younger relative and get in on the action.

  • 14-17 years – 1st Place – Abby & Mike Chizauskas (62). 2nd place: Avery & Evan Bishop (65)
  • 11-13 years – 1st place: Cody & Craig Johnson (60). 2nd place: Kaleb & Michael Driscoll (61)

The Blue Rock Golf Course Parent-Child Tournament is open to both members and non-members. Some families plan their vacations around it — a true testament to the fun parents and their kids have taking part in the event.
