Blue Rock Golf Course Names New Golf Pro And Announces Significant Expansion Of Blue Rock Academy Of Golf
Blue Rock Golf Course in South Yarmouth has named Nick Wiseman to the position of Director of Instruction & Head Golf Professional and announced a major expansion of the Blue Rock Academy of Golf.
Wiseman has been a leading golf instructor on Cape Cod for many years and plans to expand and enhance Blue Rock’s already well-known clinic and lesson offerings. He was named the 2024 Teacher of the Year for the Cape Cod Chapter of the PGA.
After more than ten years working as a caddy at the Ridge Club in Sandwich, four years playing in high school at Tabor Academy, and two years playing collegiately at Hartwick College, he realized that he wanted to turn his passion into a career.
That led him to work for Club Med, an international resort corporation that specializes in sporting activities in remote locations around the world. In 2010, Wiseman moved to Orlando, Florida to follow through with his apprenticeship with the PGA of America.
When he returned to Cape Cod, Wiseman worked for two years in the private sector at Cape Cod National and Oyster Harbors.
And now, Wiseman has big plans for Blue Rock Golf Course lessons and instructions. His teaching style is based off two main principles, physics, and biomechanics. The goal is to grow the game and passion for golf through quality education and an enriched sense of community.
Wiseman is implementing the latest in golf teaching technology that will include video components and more.

Two other Cape Cod golf professionals are joining Wiseman’s instruction team in 2025, including Kevin Eosco, who was recently the PGA Pro at the Harwich Port Golf Course, and Mike Papp, a golf professional who was named Best Golf Teacher in Connecticut five years in a row.
In addition to the new PGA Pro and teaching team members, Blue Rock is also pleased to announce that Nikki Winrow has been named the new Pro Shop Manager of Blue Rock Golf Course. Winrow was already a part of The Davenport Companies’ family, where she recently worked in the accounting department.
Winrow is originally from Quincy, where she worked at Quincy Credit Union for 12 years before moving to Cape Cod two years ago. She has many years of customer service experience which she is excited to bring to Blue Rock Golf Course.
