(SOUTH YARMOUTH) – Blue Rock Golf Course in South Yarmouth, MA hosted its 11th Annual Club Championship during the weekend of August 10 and 11, attracting a large and enthusiastic field that enjoyed perfect weather for golf.
After two days of competitive play, Ed Meiners topped the field in the men’s division, with John Vanderlinden capturing the crown in the senior men’s category.
Sara Trainer won the women’s title, while Roberta Oberlander took home the top spot in the senior women’s division.
“Seeing the camaraderie and member support on such a big tournament is so wonderful,” said Blue Rock Golf Club Pro Jim Campbell.
“Everyone seems to be enjoying the summer here at the course,” he said.
The adult divisions played 18 holes on Saturday and Sunday.
Taking the crown in the Jr. 13 & Older category was Ryan Canney, while Ronan Finnegan topped the field in Jr. 12 & Under field. All juniors played their rounds on Sunday.
“What a great turn out for the 11th annual Club Championship and the Jr. Club Championship,” said Campbell.
All the players were greeted on the 18th hole with snacks and cold beverages.
