2023 Blue Rock Golf Course Parent-Child Tournament Features Friendly Competition

Blue Rock Golf Course in South Yarmouth recently hosted its popular annual Parent-Child Tournament, bringing together generations of golfers to compete for several titles. And it was another year of fierce but friendly competition on the course.

This annual event is a fantastic way for adults to hit the links with their kids and grandchildren and play against other teams for bragging rights as the best Parent-Child duo. Teams compete at the award-winning Blue Rock Golf Course in four divisions based on a child’s age.

The format is alternate shot scotch-ball. Both players drive, select a shot, and then alternate until the ball is holed.

14 and Older Division

1^st – Aiden Donath & Tobias Donath (57)

2^nd – Jim Barrasso & Evan Barrasso (64)

 

11–13 Year-Old Division (18 holes)

1^st – Dean Hogencamp & Will Hogencamp (56)

2^nd – Mike Chizauskas & Abby Chizauskas (60)

 

11–13 Year-Old Division (9 holes)

1^st – Doug Hum & Brayden Hum (32)

2^nd – Evan Bishop & Avery Bishop (37)

 

10 Years Old and Under (9 holes)

1^st – Jerry McGuire & Madelynn McGuire  (33)

2^nd – Jason Mahoney & Kayden Mahoney (36)
