Jim Campbell, PGA
2024 New England PGA Teacher of the Year (Cape Cod Chapter)
As the son of a PGA Professional, Jim was introduced to golf and the golf business at a very young age. He played and competed often as a junior, eventually winning the Massachusetts High School Tournament his senior year in high school. He then continued on to Mississippi State University to major in Professional Golf Management so he could follow in his father’s footsteps as a PGA Professional.
After graduating from MSU, he worked at Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, PA, and The Hole in the Wall Golf Club in Naples, FL, as an assistant professional. In 1999, he became the Head Professional at Cape Cod National Golf Club in Brewster and was there for 19 seasons. Jim is now happy to call Blue Rock home. He is certified by the PGA in Player Development and PGA coach (specializing in junior golf instruction) and loves helping juniors and beginners become lifelong golfers.
Jim and his wife Joelle have a blended family with five sons between them. Jim’s three sons are all avid and competitive golfers. His oldest son, Dan, is the Head Men’s & Women’s Golf Coach at NW Oklahoma State University. His two younger sons are at Methodist University in NC where they play on the golf team and are enrolled in the Professional Golf Management Program.
Over the years, Jim has volunteered in the elementary schools to teach golf and coached youth basketball during the winters. he enjoys fishing, playing golf, and walking his dogs with his family.

Lowest Competitive Score: 66 at George Wright Golf Club
Greatest Personal Golf Moment: It’s a tie between when I used to play in a foursome with my dad and two brothers and when I now play in a foursome with my three sons. There’s nothing better than family golf!
