Two junior members, brothers, Patrick McLoughlin and Danny “Red Ryder” McLoughlin, set out with friend, Greg Jacobson to break Blue Rock’s Record of most holes played in one day. The record was set a few years back by Dan Gerwatowski playing 81 holes in one day. The three boys were on the first tee at 7:45 a.m. ready to go. Mom supplied sandwiches and snacks in between each round throughout the day and many bottles of PowerAde and water were consumed.
About 12 hours later with 90 holes played and no real breaks between rounds, they beat Blue Rock’s record by 9 holes!
