Annual Parent-Child Tournament Features Friendly Family Competition

Blue Rock Golf Course in South Yarmouth recently hosted its annual Parent-Child Tournament, bringing together generations of golfers to compete for several titles.

This annual event is a fantastic way for adults to hit the links with their kids and play against other teams for bragging rights as the best Parent-Child duo. Teams compete at the award-winning Blue Rock Golf Course in four divisions based on a child’s age.

The format is alternate shot scotch-ball. Both players drive, select a shot, and then alternate until the ball is holed.

Here are this year’s results:

 15–17 Year-Old Division

1^st – Stephen Daly & Joe Hegarty

2^nd – Tom Steck & Ronan Finnegan

 

11–13 Year-Old Division (18 Holes)

1^st – Dean Hogencamp & Cole Hogencamp

2^nd – Tobias Donath & Aiden Donath

 

11–13 Year-Old Division (9 holes)

1^st – Jen Hogencamp & Will Hogencamp

2^nd – Tim Gula & Jack Gula

 

10 Years Old and Under

1^st – Doug Hum & Brayden Hum

2^nd – Tim Gula & Jack Gula
